Day 01 Arrival in Arusha – Safari Welcome

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport. Meet your professional driver-guide and transfer to your lodge in Arusha. Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short town tour or relax at the lodge while preparing for the safari ahead.

Day 02 Arusha - Tarangire National Park – Land of Elephants

Depart after breakfast for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5–3 hours). Known for its huge elephant herds and giant baobab trees, Tarangire also offers sightings of lions, leopards, buffalo, giraffes, and over 400 bird species. Picnic lunch in the park, then continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your lodge.

Day 03 Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park – Scenic Rift Valley

Today’s journey takes you to Lake Manyara National Park, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Spot pink flamingos on the lake, tree-climbing lions, elephants, and hippos. The park is also rich in birdlife. Evening transfer to your lodge in Karatu.

Day 4 Karatu - Serengeti National Park – The Endless Plains

After breakfast, drive towards Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands. Stop at a Maasai village or Olduvai Gorge (optional, extra cost) before entering Serengeti. Afternoon game drive en route to your camp, where the vast savannah teems with wildebeests, zebras, and predators like lions and cheetahs.

Day 5 Serengeti National Park – Full Day Safari Adventure

Day 6 Serengeti - Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Wildlife Haven

Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater – The World’s Largest Caldera

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations. The crater floor hosts nearly all of Africa’s large mammals including lions, elephants, black rhinos, buffalo, and countless bird species. Picnic lunch by the Hippo Pool before ascending back to the rim.

Day 8 Karatu/Arusha → Departure

After breakfast, drive back to Arusha. Depending on your flight schedule, you may visit local markets or enjoy optional activities before being transferred to the airport for your onward journey.

Day 9 Cultural Tour of Hadzabe and Datoga Tribes

Your final day begins with breakfast, followed by a cultural visit to the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes near Lake Eyasi. The Hadzabe are one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa, and you’ll have the chance to join them on a hunt, while the Datoga tribe will showcase their blacksmithing skills and traditional customs.Lunch will be provided, and after your cultural immersion, you’ll begin the return journey to Arusha for your final overnight stay or be transferred to the airport for your departure, marking the end of your incredible safari adventure.
