Terms and Conditions – WildTrackers

Welcome to Wild Trackers! By booking a tour with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read carefully to understand your rights and responsibilities.


1. Booking and Payment

  • Booking Confirmation: Your booking is confirmed once we receive the deposit. We recommend booking early to secure your preferred tour dates.
  • Deposit: A 20% deposit is required to hold your reservation. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before departure.
  • Payment Methods: Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or mobile money (like PesaPal).
  • Late Payment: Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of your booking.

2. Prices

  • Currency: All tour prices are listed in US Dollars(USD)
  • What’s Included: Accommodation, meals, park fees, guide services, and transportation are included unless stated otherwise.
  • What’s Not Included: Personal expenses, tips, optional activities, and any extra services not listed in the itinerary.
  • Price Changes: Prices may change due to fuel costs, taxes, or currency fluctuations, but we will inform you promptly.

3. Insurance

  • Recommendation: Travel insurance is highly recommended. It should cover trip cancellation, medical emergencies, accidents, and loss or damage of personal belongings.
  • Liability: WildTrackers is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or lost property. Insurance ensures you are covered in unexpected situations.

4. Complaints

  • Immediate Reporting: If any problem occurs during your tour, inform your guide or contact our office immediately.
  • Resolution: We aim to resolve complaints quickly and fairly. Complaints reported after the tour may take longer to investigate.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

  • By Customer:
    • More than 30 days before departure: Full refund minus 10% processing fee.
    • 15–30 days before departure: 50% refund.
    • Less than 15 days before departure: No refund.
  • By WildTrackers: If we cancel the tour due to safety, weather, or other reasons, you will receive a full refund or an alternative tour of equal value.

6. Changes to Itineraries

  • Possible Changes: We may alter itineraries due to weather, political situations, natural events, or operational reasons.
  • Notification: Customers will be informed as soon as possible about any major changes.
  • Flexibility: Minor changes may occur to enhance your experience or improve safety.

7. Liability

  • Personal Responsibility: You are responsible for your actions, health, and safety during the tour.
  • Limits: WildTrackers is not liable for events beyond our control, including accidents, delays, theft, or illness.

8. Travel Documents

  • Required Documents: A valid passport and any necessary visas are your responsibility.
  • Check Early: Ensure your documents are valid for the duration of your tour.
  • Lost Documents: WildTrackers is not responsible for replacing lost or expired documents.

9. Tour Authority

  • Guide Authority: Guides make decisions for safety and operational efficiency. You must follow their instructions.
  • Safety First: For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, WildTrackers reserves the right to remove anyone from a tour if they disrupt the experience or break rules.

10. Health and Safety

  • Health Conditions: Inform us of any medical conditions before booking. Some activities may not be suitable for everyone.
  • Vaccinations: Certain vaccinations may be required for travel to Tanzania. Check local health regulations before your trip.

11. Photography and Media

Consent: By joining the tour, you consent to your image being used in marketing materials unless you opt-out in writing.

Usage Rights: WildTrackers may take photos or videos during tours for promotional purposes.
